We at ClassicGameroomSupply are proud to present this 1990 Bally 'Pool Sharks' pinball machine. A Williams System 11 in wolf's (shark's?) clothing, this Bally is the first machine released as a 'Bally' after Williams purchased the Bally company.
This machine warps me back to the Georgia Tech student union of 1990, where the operator bought every machine of this era in order. Ah, the days of Game Show, Mousin' Around, Elvira and the like. I think I majored in Cyberball, Klax and Tetris!
The audio has interesting speech and sound for the time it was made in. The music works very well with the goings on of the game, and the mouth of the talking shark on the playfield works in sync with the speech being spoken.
The playfield is more complicated than you would think, and shot selection is critical to building a high score. The machine's lighting and flashers work well with the theme. Pool Sharks is a good choice to own because not only can the unfamiliar play it and enjoy it, learning the rules will make it replay-able in the long run. Machine re-bulbed and re-rubbered and ready to be the centerpiece of your home gameroom. Cabinet really nice, with very limited fade. A little 'Elvira' crinkle by the left front leg, but it has been trimmed by the previous owner.
Game sold as-is, where is, 100% working. ALL SALES FINAL. No warranty expressed or implied.
