super clean 85 Redline PL-24 survivor
Rare color combo PL-24 cruiser black Araya 7x rims w/ early logo Phil wood bubs this survivor was purchased from the original owner whom owned a 1983 pl24 but cracked the frame at the seat tube keyhole. He sent it in, and received a replacement 84 pl24 frame. Ended up cracking that one too. So he sent in the frame for replacement or repair. After a very long wait. In 85 he was given a replacement frame AND a new matching fork. Shortly after that he got his drivers license and only rode the bike occasionally. Bike was purchased as shown except I added the seat as it did not come with a seat when I bought it. I will also include the matching front dc caliper and rx5 lever. I ride the bike around my neighborhood with my daughter and dont like front brakes. The frame is in great shape. Its also a very rare color combo. The entire frame is chrome with the 2 tone over the chrome. Rims are straight. hubs spin forever. Cranks are tight and spin like butter. Headset is tight and rides beautifully. Bars are nice but original owner used a scrub brush to clean them. They are stamped redline. Pedals were a TOL mountain bike pedal. Everything on the bike is in top notch working condition. Please feel free to ask any questions AND send me your email if you need more pics bike may be shipped in 2 seperate boxes if need be international bidders please contact me for more accurate shipping quote based on your location, but please keep in mind that due to the size and value this bike must be shipped using global express international mail. there is another option available that could cheapen the shipping, but we will have to discuss it beforehand. |
