Please find for your review my 14' Sears Gamefisher Tri-Hull fishing boat.  It comes with a 1976 25 HP Evinrude motor.  The motor has been tuned up with recent points, coils, condensers, impeller, spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc.  The lean/rich adjustment knob on the motor has some lost parts from a former owner on it but this can be adjusted with the cowling off.  I have it adjusted to run well in the local waters.  The one sparkplug hole was repaired with a helicoil by a former owner as well.  The trailer is a galvanized Karavan 2002 model.     The trailer is probably worth the starting price of this auction.

The boat has the normal wear and tear of a 37 year old boat.  I installed tigerwood wooden seats over the old bench seats that had holes in them from pedestal seating.  The pedestal holes had been re-covered with fiberglass. It had been repainted by the former owner with a special two part epoxy paint.  There is some cracking in the joints between the seats and the hull but this does not affect the structure of the boat.  I think these were free floating and a previous owner epoxied them in place.  There is some severe cracking of the interior white paint but this is only cosmetic . There is also some cracking in the corner of the center seat from where I installed the wooden seat with fixed fasteners.  This is now secured with rope which allows the bench to flex a bit.  The transom is sound and appears to be reinforced with thick fiberglass board.  She runs very fast for a boat of this caliber- hold onto your hat!  I have titles for both the boat and the trailer so licensing will not be a problem.  The trailer has a current registration and license.  The boat registration has recently expired.

I will not be providing a gas tank or hose with the boat so you will have to get these to run her.  The tires on the trailer should be replaced.  The bearings on the trailer have been taken care of and have special grease fittings.  I have not used her in saltwater since I have purchased her.  You may want to purchase new tires for her if you are going any distance. A quick stop at the local Walmart will fix the tire issues.  Replacement tires are around $70.00 each.   The ones I have on there now are crazed but I have used them for the past three years without a blow out.   The trailer has a four prong plug.  The trailer is equipped with a jack to maneuver it when it is off the trailer ball.  It uses a 2" trailer ball. The trailer lighting worked well the last time I used her but this cannot be guaranteed since she has been sitting since September 2012.

I purchased the boat from a fellow in MD a several years ago.   His brother worked for a marina and did the paint work.  The motor came from a local purchase on Craig's list.  I have around 20 hours in its tune up time on the repairs.   The engine has good compression in both cylinders.  It was neat that both the motor and the boat were manufactured the same year.  I have used her mostly for fishing for catfish in the Susquehanna river.

My son is going to college in the fall and would like to give the proceeds of this auction to him for books and expenses.  Every little bit helps with that venture.

The boat is sold "As Is" with no warranties given or implied.
