This is a bolt-up ride ready engine I bought to use as a replacement on
my custom chopper. After sitting in storage for a few years, I lost
interest and motivation and decided to part out the project. The frame
and original engine have been sold and this is the sole remaining piece
of the project. Engine info: 1975 Ironhead/XL/XLH/XLCH Sportster 1000CC. Kick start engine. This engine has ~ 4300 miles on it per the included OEM odometer. It also did not come with a kicker arm but does have a new kicker pedal. Includes engine, alternator, original speedo/odo showing engine mileage and new kicker pedal (no kick shaft and no other accessories) There is no carb or exhaust included with the engine, however I do have a S&S Super B carb with intake ("y") and S&S tear-drop air filter housing (non-polished aluminum) that I would sell to the buyer for an additional $150. The engine does not come with the rubber mounts that attach the intake manifold to the heads...OEM part easy enough to find. Engine Title Info: If you are curious about this engine coming with a title... Harley Davidson quit titling engines after 1969. Beginning around 1970, they began titling the frames with VIN on the frames. Though the engine bares the same engine ID as the frame VIN, the title is issued for the frame and stays with the frame when salvaged thus the engine legally sells with a Bill of Sale only and no longer has a title to transfer. This engine comes with a Bill of Sale as required by law. NOTICE: If buyer does not respond appropriately within 24 hours of the sale, the sale will be voided and the item will be re-listed. At close of auction: -Immediate down payment of $500 is required via PayPal. -The balance will be due by Cashier's Check (or cash) before the engine will be released for pick-up or shipment. -Engine will be loaded on a small pallet and shrink wrapped for either buyer arranged shipping or buyer pick up on site. -Any shipping will be the responsibility of the winning bidder to arrange and pay for. Thank you for looking- L |
