1971-1975 Buick LeSabre, Centurion convertible top rack folding side frame rail

We may have the solution for you, this is a rebuilt side rail just for your car, this is one complete side rail all the way from the back of the car to the windshield.  One of the most common problems with the scissor top cars is that the main hinge point wears out and causes too much play in the side rail, this can cause the rails to hit each other, rip your top or stop completely.  Here at Convertible Top Specialists we disassemble the side rail, bead blast it to remove any paint or corrosion and put it in a special jig to ensure it is properly lined up.  The main pivot joint is bored out and a special hardened pivot is installed with the proper amount of clearance, the side rail is rewelded and checked for proper movement, when it is complete we paint it with a black epoxy paint.
