Here's the 1964 WIZARD OF OZ Gold Aluminum Doubloon issued by the Krewe of Rex. The obverse features the Rex Logo, designed by H. Alvin Sharpe, the creator of the Mardi Gras doubloon. The reverse features the COWARDLY LION, the SCARECROW, and the TIN MAN and reads "PRO BONO PUBLICO...WE RETURN TO THE LAND OF OZ...MARDI GRAS IN NEW ORLEANS...1964." The doubloon measures 39 mm or 1 1/2" in diameter and is in Excellent Condition.

We will combine shipping for items won in auctions ending in five (5) consecutive days, and will combine shipping for both auction items and store purchases. Once your shopping is completed, email me and request a final invoice showing combined shipping. Or, alternatively, let us know that you are still watching items at auction and would like your store purchases to be combined with those items you win at auction (when those auctions end). All items shipped with delivery confirmation.
Shipping means "Shipping and Handling" and includes the cost of the padded envelop (Small $0.33, Large $0.45), postage and delivery confirmation (starts at USPS one ounce rate of $1.41 and increases $0.17 for each additional ounce to a max of 13 ounces. That's because padded envelopes are "parcels" and require higher postage than regular size envelopes, which are "flats" and sorted by the USPS automated sorting equipment, which likes to eat envelopes with objects like doubloons inside them), printing supplies and tape for lables (averages $0.25 per package) and gas for the 17 mile round trip to the post office in my Expedition which gets 18 MPG (average varies on price of gas but around $0.20 per package). We have offered discounted shipping costs for years and will continue to offer accurate and reasonable shipping and handling charges combined with prompt and secure shipping!
Foreign buyers must agree to pay any additional postage and handling costs to ship items to their country and are also responsible for any customs fees or duties assessed at the point of entry in their country.
