COLLIER'S MAGAZINE ROCKY MARCIANO - RARE MAY 13, 1955!

This original and historic magazine is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, the pages are clean with no writing and minor creases. The cover has good color, nice gloss, and the original subscription mailing label.  Lots of really good pictures and stories from that year and of course - some great advertising that is fun to look at too. The staples are clean and rust free and the cover is tight on the spine and on the magazine. The pages are complete with no pages missing and original inserts still attached. Near Mint: (Grades a 9 on a 10 point scale) Can have 1 or 2 very minor defects, but a Near Mint graded publication appears almost perfect to the naked eye. It is flat, clean and rust free. It may have barely noticeable defects, such as a tiny wrinkle, a hairline crease or traces of use from careful normal wear.

Excellent/Near Mint: (Grades a 8+ on a 10 point scale) A highly desirable copy with just enough tiny minor defects to keep it out the Near Mint category. Issues graded as “Excellent/Near Mint” are very suitable for display. The magazine will have a very clean cover with some possible minor wear on the corners. The cover could have a minor wrinkles or creases, but no tears. The issue must maintains most of its original cover gloss. These magazines must maintain a clean appearance with a good strong spines and can easily be read and enjoyed. This is the most popular grade for serious collectors.

Excellent: (6 -7 out of 10) A solid copy with some possible moderate wear, but will maintain most of the original cover gloss. These may have very slight discolorations or minor markings inside the publication. This issues may have a small tear or crease on the cover or along the spine, but the cover is still firmly attached at the binding. To be considered ‘Excellent”, the issue as a whole must be very pleasing to eye. A very collectible issue to own and enjoy.

Very Good: (grades 4 or 5 on a 10 point scale). This grade is an average copy that can be worn or creased, a minor stain or discolored but not written on. It will have a good cover and must be attached. These issues are still presentable enough to be displayed, especially the older issues. Very Good condition magazines are great for reading or reference.
