Super early and ultra rare 1954 Rolex Submariner reference 6205 with 216,XX serial.  This is the very first submariner!

The watch has a very unusual white dial. The dial was clearly completely redone many years ago. But why it was redone white, will remain a mystery, unless this watch started out with an ultra rare white dial? Certainly could be. But that will remain a mystery.

The pencil hands with sweep seconds with bubble tip are 100% original and very rare in themselves.

The bezel and insert are aftermarket and not original.

The serial and model numbers are clearly visible between the lugs.

The movement is running, but the service history is unknown so a service is recommended.

The watch comes on a mid 1960's swiss made riveted bracelet reference 7206 with 80 endpieces in used condition.

The watch has no box and no papers.
