1952 Bowman Baseball Cards -- Complete Set -- Average grading of cards are Good to Very Good. Set includes all players, including Mantle, Berra, Mays, Musial, Snider, Spahn, Rizzuto, and Minoso. This 1952 Set includes 252 cards that measure 2 1/16" by 3 1/8". One of the first sets to feature the players' printed autographs, this set is considered one of the nicer Bowman sets around. The card fronts feature color player drawings, rendered by artists from black and white player photos. The high number series, which is difficult to find, ranges from card number 217-252. That entire set is included with this package. All in all, this is a nice set to own and is much more affordable than its main competitor from that year, the 1952 Topps set. A virtual highlight reel of mid-century stars, the '52 Bowman set is packed with great players, nice cards, and wonderful memories. |
