You are bidding on a gorgeous doll! This is a 1950's German Bild Lilli doll, which is the doll Barbie was designed after. She stands about 11 1/2 inches tall and is made of hard plastic. She has beautiful face paint with one tiny blemish on her forehead. She has blonde mohair hair with that great Lilli curl in the front. She has the molded and painted flower earrings. Her hair has been restyled into a braid and the ribbon is not original. She can move her head and she also is jointed at the shoulders and hips. Overall her body is in good shape but there are some marks and light areas of discoloration. I have not tried to clean any of the spots, and it is very possible that most will come off. She has the molded and painted shoes which do have the holes in the bottom. She is wearing a red dress which I do not think is original. It looks fine from the front, but it is very tight and barely closes in the back. Snap closures. You can see where it has been mended in the sleeves. Underneath she has a white slip.
