Here is a nice old Miniature Speed Graphic outfit. The serial number places the manufacture of this unit near the end of the Miniature Speed Graphic production. According to the folks at SouthBristolViews list of Graflex serial numbers, this camera was made in 1946. Production of the Miniature Speed Graflex was from 1941 to 1946. Serial numbers for 1946 begin with 401843. This camera is 407955. The year 1947 begins with serial number 410196. The uncommon lens unit is from the same general time period. This lens is a Kodak No2 Supermatic. It is loaded with numbers--ES 148 - 019731 2.090.070 2.099.866 and Pat In USA 2005394. The ES translates to the year of production being 1947. Also found with the camera are four different film backs. We have shown all of them in different photos. They consist of: Ground Glass with flip up door, a "23" Graphic Roll Film Holder, Graphic Film Pack Adaptor as well as twelve (12) sheet film holders. Some of these sheet film holders are loaded with film. We have no way of knowing if they contain images. Everything seen in picture #8 except the top lens shade(belongs to another camera) is included. Also included, but not shown is the fitted case this equipment was found with. Condition wise, everything seems to be in fine working order, but we have never used it. The leather-like covering shows some wear thru in a few places, but still looks very good. Where this old baby really shines is inside. It is in beautiful clean condition. Impressive for a 66 year old camera. The lens operates, the shutter winds and snaps, the glass looks fine and the bellows appears nearly new. The antique Bell & Howell Filmo tripod will be offered in a separate sale. These items may work as designed or need some adjustment, but due to age we offer no guarantees. Due to past problems with people swapping parts we will not accept returns on this item. The initial shipping charge will be $50, but we will refund any excess once the actual cost is known. Please study the pictures closely as they are considered part of the description.
