Up for auction is a sharp looking Philco tabletop radio model #38-12. This wooden beauty was introduced in 1938 and features a right side dial, left side speaker grille with cut-outs, and two knobs. The case of this beauty is in good condition showing only light use and age wear. Please see all photos. When plugged in, this five tube Philco powers up and lights up, but does not play. All you receive is a loud audible hum. This Philco radio could also use a new power cord. This wooden beauty measures approximately 11 1/2"x6" and stands about 8 1/4" tall.  Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
