Why not just buy a Martin that already has all the upgrades you want anyway!!?? Here is a fantastic 1993 Martin D-28 1935 re-issue. Only 237 of these were made and they are all signed by CF Martin IV himself. Has Waverly tuners and includes the original Martin hardcase. There are a couple of small dings on the back of the headstock. Certainly nothing that can affect the tone or playability. This is a rich sounding guitar and features the same stylings as the current HD-28 V, V profile neck, forward scalloped bracing, slotted diamond inlay, and aged top finish. The back and sides are indian rosewood. The neck is straight as an arrow but has a little bit of wear on the back. The string height at the 12th fret is 3/16". This guitar also features a wider sound hole like the Clarence White model, which means you can actually keep pace with the banjo pickers at your local jams. I have a baby on the way and will not be playing music enough to necessitate keeping this beauty around. There are tons of HD-28V's out there but only 237 of these and you can feel the power of this guitar the moment you pick it up. I will pack it well and ship the same day as payment is received. If insurance is requested, please include that in the final price.
