Starting in 1934, a lot more coins were saved at the time of issue. The 1934 Walking Liberty half dollar is quite available in uncirculated condition and I have seen many, many original uncirculated rolls over the years. Note that the dates in the 1930s as not as common as the dates in the 1940s, but the 1934-1939 issues are definitely available in mint state condition. Also note that the Philadelphia issues were saved in much larger quantities than the Denver and San Francisco mint issues.
The 1934 Philadelphia Walker often comes in superb condition. The typical mint state example is really well struck and often has gorgeous original luster...thick and creamy. This issue and the 1939 Philadelphia are the two easiest issues of the 1930s by far to find in MS67 or even MS68 condition.
Came exactly as shown & documented. It is so pretty I hate to hide it but I certainly don't want anyone to be in the house & figure out I collect coins.
