1931 Philco 90 Working Chassis for Cathedral Radio With Tubes and Original Knobs

Clean, working chassis for the popular Philco 90 cathedral radio. The chassis is very original with only a few components under the chassis added or changed .. even still retains the original tubular electrolytic capacitors on top of the chassis [almost always missing or replaced by more modern looking cans] and power cord. Also comes with a full set of original Philco rosette knobs, seven original Philco globe tubes and the excellent cond original dial.

About as nice a chassis as you're likely to find. Set does work with some hum & static w/weak reception [brought up slowly on a variac and tested with an original Philco speaker {not included or available] ... However: This is an 80 year old original radio ... It should be gone through by a qualified technician before extended use. It's the mid 1931 version with tube line up: 3/24's, 4/27's, 80 & 47 output ... even still has seven of the original Philco Globe style tubes and a clean original tube shield with a good Philco diagram.

Chassis measures approx 14.5" X 9" X 8" tall and well packed [double boxed] shipping weight will be 29.5 pounds from zip code 24012. Free delivery to the June 22-23 MAARC radio meet in Beltsville, MD.

Unlike many others I do not have a huge list of petty rules and threats for non compliance. It is all very simple...pay within the specified time and I will ship the item!

In particular there have been Customs delays in shipments to Italy in the last year or so and buyers from Italy should be aware of that and allow extra time for delivery.
