Bidding starts at $39.95 with NO RESERVE ************************************************************************************************************************* Some General Notes About My Currency Auctions: For all of my auctions: NO RESERVE! From the estate of a family member who was an avid collector of currency, coins and stamps. Currency includes mid-19th through mid-20th century Silver Certificates, State & Regional money, Federal Reserve Notes, fractional bills and more--even a 1863 United States Five Dollar Contemporary Counterfeit (yes, a US note, not a Confederate; not sure I can list that one here on Ebay). I will be posting many items during the next month or two, so please see my other auctions and “stay tuned.” Photos are of actual item being offered. I am no expert on currency grading, so I’ll try to describe any significant condition characteristics—good or bad—and ask you to refer to the scans for the best reflection of condition. If you need additional information, please let me know. If you need a higher resolution scan I can send that directly to an email address that you provide. In some cases, the scans might not accurately portray true colors/hues (close, usually, but not perfect). For instance, most of my scans tend to mute the vibrant green hues on the reverse side of the bills (they are usually brighter, greener, more striking and/or less blue in reality). Scans were usually “sharpened” in a photo editing program to enhance clarity, but were not in any way manipulated to make items appear to be in better than actual condition. If anything, the scans are often more discriminating than the naked eye, and I tend to be overly-critical in the written descriptions. ************************************************************************************************************************* Terms: US only; PayPal only. Payment must be sent within THREE DAYS of auction end. Careful packaging and prompt, certified shipping via USPS First Class Mail is $2.95. Bills will be enclosed in the plastic pockets they’ve been stored in for the past twenty-five+ years. I’m happy to combine shipping whenever possible; you pay the stated shipping price ONCE and the other items ship FREE (if necessary, I’ll simply refund any additional shipping charges to your PayPal account). If you’re considering multiple purchases and want me to “hold” an existing purchase while you follow other auctions please let me know. Contact me with any questions. Thanks! |
