 Beautiful antique fine handmade honiton lace edge handkerchief.

Beautiful handmade lace edge depicting flowers and butterflies, cotton centre handkerchief with embroidered name. measures  13 inches aprox.  Age consistent condition with marking shown.

I collect vintage and antique textiles. This has been a lifelong interest of mine. My interest and love of these beautiful vintage fabrics began when I worked as a teenager, in a vintage clothing shop in Camden Passage, London, a place renowned for its antique market and shops.

It was during my time here I learnt such a lot about vintage/antique textiles and fashion. My interest in these fabrics has continued to grow. I particularly love antique quilts and textiles from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's.you cannot beat the soft handle of a pretty 1940's print cotton or the crispness of a freshly starched hand embroidered victorian tablecloth. I am a keen patchworker/quilter/embroiderer and am constantly on the lookout for interesting fabrics to feed my passion!
