Former United States Air Force ATLAS-F Missile Base. Located in Central Kansas, actual location will only be disclosed to serious qualified buyers. This site includes all of it's original property (just under 19 acres). Highest property in area, 360 degree views for miles. 2 deep water wells on site, and additional 3rd well offsite on seperate piece of property that is also included with pipeline back to main facility. All UNDERGROUND structures intact. Underground nuclear hardened structures include entrance with stairway below, corridor leading to entrapment area and two blast doors, square stairshaft with access to two levels of launch command center (which is two stories with extremely tall ceilings, and is 2700 sq. ft. by itself), and down a third story to a 40' long tunnel over to a second pair of blast doors and then on to the main missile silo. The missile silo it-self is enormous at 52' in diameter and 17 stories deep (172 feet). The potential exists for around 34,000 sq ft of usable space in the silo. 74 tons each overhead doors on the silo (actual weight is around 10 tons higher per door with hinge). Two additional antennae silos. Cost approx. $15 million to build in the late 1950's. Over 600 tons of reinforcing steel rebar throughout the facility as the construction photo shows. ONE OF THE STRONGEST STRUCTURES EVER BUILT BY MAN. Entire structure designed to withstand over 200psi overpressure! Entire structure is hardened. Designed to withstand a nuclear strike, and designed to withstand earthquakes or any other disaster intact and secure. Two large septic systems in good condition. Blast doors in facility are intact. Command center and tunnels are not flooded. Huge on site pond (currently has approx. 2 ft of water in it but is currently being filled). All structures are underground. Extremely cheap property taxes (ask me how cheap!). This is one of the largest and safest fortresses available on the planet for private use. The federal gov. no longer sells facilities of this type into private hands, but implodes them.
