1884 - S $20 LIBERTY GOLD DOUBLE EAGLE PCGS AU - 58  

This listing is  for an 1884 -S  $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle Gold coin.  PCGS graded AU - 58 .  There are times with the grading companies that one wonders how a particular grade was arrived at for a particular coin.      Minor surface defects are present but nothing major.  High surface points appear sharp.  Color is excellent.   Strike is perhaps a tad weak for the series.  Surface lustre on this coin though  is superb  for  both the  obverse and reverse.   Excellent overall coin for the AU grade (my opinion is that given  this coins' appearance it is somewhat under-graded). 

Over the past decade mint state gold coins have been  steadily appreciating  in price, year over year, due to both numismatic rarity  and precious metal value.   The continued rise in the price of gold  has led to dramatically increased  demand for graded gold coins, such as offered here,  among both collectors and investors.

RETURNS:  There is a seven day  - full, no questions asked - return policy from date item is received by the buyer.  Full refund of the selling price is guaranteed for any reason during this 7 day period with the following exceptions:
1) Coins sent in a graded  or protective holder must be returned with that holder intact. Removal of a coin from its holder, or breakage of the holder will VOID  the return guarantee.
2) Coins sent without holders must be returned without having sustained damaged or defacement - if a buyer receives a coin that is different from the coin scans or shows damage not reflected by the scans or identified in the coins' description, prompt contact from the buyer regarding this to the seller is expected. If damage to the coin appears to have occurred in transit, then opportunity for coin replacement (if possible) or  full refund will be provided.
For items that are returned for refund, the cost of the return shipping will be the responsibility of the BUYER (we will be bearing all other expenses, so this is only fair!)

SHIPPING:  Shipping will generally be provided via USPS priority mail  with  delivery confirmation ( signature confirmation - on some items) for protection of both parties. Shipping of  gold coins is self-insured  - signature upon  receipt for these items will be required.
For high valued shipments USPS Registered Mail will be utilized.  Shipping will generally occur within two business days of payment clearance.
