With table of contents and index. Bound in the original red leather and boards with marbled endpapers. 8 3/4" X 6 1/2".

In the old books, manuscripts and maps section there are 14,701 lots fully described and priced. With categories on every imaginable subject: sports, natural history, architecture and engineering, illuminated manuscripts, English and Spanish literature, geography, voyages and travels, Biblical texts, fine arts and illustrated books, law, music, songs and dancing, oriental languages, antiquities, heraldry etc. (see all 12 pictures) 

This is a legal discard from the Cincinnati Public Library. I had one of the heads of the "Friends of the Library" connected to the rare book department sign a statement that it's a legal discard which is included in the sale. (see picture 12) It has a very old catalog label on the spine and early library bookplate on the endpaper and old oval blind embossed library stamp on the title page with pencil catalog numbers. Was never put into circulation. The covers and hinges are VG and the leaves are tightly bound. NO soiling, stains, marks etc. on any leaves or pages. The leather spine is lightly scuffed.
