This is a leaf lot consisting of four (4) leaves. from a fragment of an illuminated Koran, India, Kashmir, circa 1820 on burnished paper (155 x 95 mm.). You will receive the leaf that is pictured as well as three additional leaves from this fragment that are not decorated with Suras or Border Medallions. There are seventeen lines (17) of elegant naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black and red; catchwords in black ink are on every page, gold disks are between verses and Sura headings are in handsome thuluth script in blue ink on a gold ground.
