Here is an old (1950's) Western USA Navajo Old Pawn Squash Blossom Sterling Silver and Natural Turquoise Necklace. This was purchased from estate and is 100% guaranteed old, original and authentic. This necklace just returned from J. Baucher Jewelers in Harrisburg Illinois authenticating the framework, beads, and Naja as solid sterling silver. The stones are naturally occurred, mined and polished. My own personal research show these stones appear to be from the Bisbee Mine in Arizona. But I am NO expert on the stones as far as origin, however I can verify they are natural stones and not manmade. The reddish-brown-gold-black matrix of the stones look just like pictures of stones recovered from the Bisbee Copper Mine dump pits. 15 stones set in sterling cabochons with 4 prong blossoms. A very nice matched set of stones for maximum aesthetic beauty. Hand wrought beads. 26" long overall with a 3 1/4" wide a 3 1/2" tall Naja. Main stone on top of Naja is near 1 1/4" long! Just Stunning! Weighs 216.5 Grams. Condition is outstanding, I did note that the third from the top (on the left side) stone has what appears to be a naturally occurred fissure in the stone. It is fully intact, structurally sound, and there is no sign of trauma in the area. Comes with glass front presentation case. Would be hard to top this piece.
