VERY VERY TALL GREEN VINTAGE BURCHINO WINE BOTTLE/DECANTER FROM ITALY! This is a very very very tall wine bottle/decanter! It has some labeling on it, and you can make out some of it. The top label says "BURCHINO IMPORTED FROM ITALY By House of Nelson Louisville, KTKY" The bottom label is difficult to make out what it reads. I can see on the left corner of the label that it says "1 Gallen" The base of the decanter is round and it has a beautiful design in the glass. It is a circle in the center with a small decorative heart with a lard decorative heart coming out from each side of the circle and some other detailing around the circle and hearts. Then the decanter narrows as it goes up and it also has the same heart and swirly design in the neck of the decanter. This decanter is very tall! I measured it to be approximately 46 inches tall! That's almost 4 feet tall!! The base of the decanter is 6 1/2 inches across and the mouth is 1 1/4 inches across. It does have a cork in the decanter that appears to be in good condition. This would make a great COLLECTOR'S ITEM! It is very rare to find something like this! It is in very good condition, with no cracks or scratches in the glass. It's a little bit dirty on the inside, but other than that, it's in great shape! I took pictures in the outside light so you could see the detailing! You can also see I took a picture of it next to a soda can so you could see how tall this decanter really is! I have done a little researching on the internet and from what I can gather, this decanter is from the late 1960's. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
