STAR WARS FAN DAYS 2011
AUTOGRAPHED CLONE TROOPER HELMET
Here it is! This is your opportunity to own a rare, unique piece of Star Wars memorabilia. Please be aware that there are two auctions for two different autographed Clone helmets. One is the Republic Commando helmet and the other is the Clone Trooper helmet. If you want to see both of the helmets please click on See Other Items.
This auction is for the autographed Clone Trooper Helmet. Own one or the pair!
The Clone Trooper helmet was created for Stephen Stanton, the voice of Captain Tarkin in Star Wars: The Clone Wars series to take with him to Star Wars Fan Days 2011 in Dallas to collect donations for “Princess Leah”. It was handmade and donated by Nick Bishop and the members of his Thylacine Squad of the 501st in Tasmania.
Please remember that these are battle helmets that have seen action and travelled halfway around the world - from Tasmania to Los Angeles to Arkansas to Dallas and back to L.A.! As you can see in all the photos the helmet does have some imperfections. So if you are looking for a perfectly pristine, shiny Storm Trooper helmet - "This is not the auction you are looking for. Move along." :-)
Currently almost 50 Star Wars actors, directors, editors, writers, artists and more have signed the helmet. Even a future Hall of Fame baseball player! To document and authenticate the signatures, a photograph was taken of each person signing the helmet. These photos are being made into a collage poster (see photo below) which is part of the auction. You can also check out the video that was created by LadyVader66 to give you an idea of some of the people who have signed the helmet: http://youtu.be/fFWV_aVNMDU
We are continuing to gather more signatures while the auction is running and will make updates here as to any new names that are added!
Also included in the auction is a custom stand made by Kevin and Kelli Ward of the Texas Clan Murraan Mandalorian Mercs.(HalonCustoms.com). The base of the stand is engraved with the logos of four costuming groups who have been instrumental in helping raise awareness and donations for Princess Leah. They are: 501st Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, Rebel Legion and The Dark Empire.
There is an autographed 8x10 photo of Nick Bishop and the members of the Thylacine Squad, along with a stuffed toy replica of their mascot - the extinct Thylacine - dressed in trooper armor that is also a part of the auction! (see photos below)
100% of the profits on this auction will go to the Esquenazi family. Baby Leah Esquenazi and her parents, Zev and Frani, have spent most of the last 9 months in the PICU at UCLA hospital. “Princess Leah” as she has come to be known in the Star Wars community was struck by a mysterious illness that causes uncontrollable movement and breathing problems. She has had multiple surgeries including the removal of cataracts in both eyes, a tracheaotomy and has to spend much of her time on a ventilator. Over 60 doctors, hundreds of tests and $2.5 million later, little Leah continues to struggle for survival. For more information please visit www.princessleahdiaries.blogspot.com
