I went through a serious Ayn Rand phase about ten years ago and compulsively collected multiple copies of all the essentials, as well as some collector's items and lesser-known books by or about the infamous writer/philosopher. Some of these books were purchased and never even cracked open. Some were flipped through a few times, but none of them are my dog-eared, marked up versions. They are all brand new or practically new -- with the exception of the two first editions -- and any dents or scruffy edges came from getting hauled around from apartment to storage space to apartment to storage space.
