Description:                              

The Lightning  Trigger (HSF-LT) is a lightning trigger that works on all DSLR cameras and allows you to capture lightning strikes. 

 It doesnt need manual adjustment as it is full automatic and it works on all DSLR cameras (eg. Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Sony).

The response time  is in microseconds and the most lightning strikes last for about 100ms. Depends of your camera the shutter lag is about 40-60ms which gives enough time to capture the lightning strike.

To use it, mount the device to a tripod using a clap or to your camera by using some velcro or a rubber band. The sensor must looks to the sky. Plug a 9 volt (PP3) battery and the cable. When a lightning strike will be detected, the Micro Thunder Trigger will send a signal to your camera to release the shutter.

DSLR compatibility                            

The device designed to trigger the shutter of your DSLR camera and it works with all DSLRs (eg. Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Sony) that have a port for Shutter Release Control. You will need an additional 2.5m male to your camera's compatible REMOTE connector. For more informations you can always contact us.

Camera Settings                            

- Don't use any Auto mode. Switch your camera to Manual Focus, shutter priority or aperture priority or full manual.
- Read you camera's manual to find out how to prevent it from going into sleep mode.
- Don't afraid to use any ISO above from 100
- Recomended settings  for Night  1/8" - 1/30" and set your apperture as needed
- Recomended settings  for Day  0.3"-1/8" and set your apperture as needed
