This is my opportunity to make a baby from a sculpt by the amazing Gudrun Legler. It is so beautiful that it was sold out almost
immediately, and I was lucky to get one and to make this lovely baby. Her sweet little face
is to die for, and her limbs are so beautifully sculpted that you can't tell she is not real!

Talia is hand-painted with care and has a lovely newborn glow.

The eyes are of the finest hand-crafted Lauscha glass, and are ANTIQUE GREY.

I am especially proud of the hair on this sweetie, and I invite you to see all the close-up photos below.

I used REAL HUMAN HAIR for her eyelashes, which I carefully micro-rooted and styled.
It looks so REAL and really brings this baby girl to life!

All my babies are dear to my heart.
Talia is an original work of art, and is therefore not suitable for very small children.
She has strong earth magnets installed, so please keep away from Pacemakers.
With love and affection, Talia will last a lifetime!

ABOUT MY PHOTOGRAPHY
All of my photos are taken in NATURAL DAYLIGHT, with no filters nor artificial lighting. The babies are not altered
using photoshop, other editing programs, or in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER! In fact, the detailing in the painting
is more subtle than can be captured by the camera.

ABOUT ME

I am a classically trained fine artist, having studied at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. For several years I have been a portrait artist,
but have fallen in love with reborning. Bringing a doll to life, by creating realistic and subtle skin colors, texture, features and hair, is an indescribable feeling.
With each doll, I hope to express my joy and bring that joy into someone else's home!

What a cutie pie!!!

I installed magnets inside the head, behind the mouth and on the right side of the head.
These can be used for putting a bow on the hair and a magnetic pacifier in the mouth.
The pink bow above, and a magnetic pacifier are INCLUDED AS WELL!!!!

Lifelike Skin Painted in Many Layers by Hand
I studied classical painting in Italy, and studied skin tones very carefully for years.
Babies have such beautiful translucent skin, and it takes many layers of paint to acheive that quality!
Little veins and capillaries add to the lifelike realism.

THE ART OF PAINTED HAIR
Look twice, it's painted!

I take such great care in making the most lifelike illusion when it comes to the baby's hair. Having studied
classical painting in Italy, I learned the high art of Trompe L'oeil which translates as
"fool the eye." Indeed, the hair is so realistic that you will have to look twice (or more!) to
see that it is an illusion! Talia has a sweet little hairdo, which is painted and textured to look real.
It always stays nice and neat, and never needs combing ;)

SKIN 

Talia has a beautiful complexion of peaches and cream. There are subtle violets and rosy pinks, giving her a healthy glow.

The likelike skin quality is made possible with many layers of heat-set Genesis paints that will never fade.

For added realism, I always make sure to put little capillaries near the eyes and blemishes throughout the skin.

There is veining on the head and limbs.

The skin is subtly textured to help keep a realistic and matte look.

Nails on fingers and toes manicured and glossed, with white tips.

Talia has a moist look near the eyes, nose, and mouth...just like a real baby!

Her eyes have been glossed for a moist look as well.

The nose is open and backed with felt for a true-to-life quality.

HAIR

As a special feature, Talia has REAL HUMAN HAIR eyelashes, carefully micro-rooted and shaped. They don't just look real, they ARE real!

Talia's hair and eyebrows were very carefully by hand in many layers and textured subtly to acheive a lifelike quality. The lighter hairs
catch highlights, just like real hair would. Because it is painted, the hair never falls out, dries out, or gets messy. It always looks neat and perfect!
