This guitar was used in the recording of  Endgame, the twelfth studio album by Megadeth. It was released via Roadrunner Records on September 9, 2009. Endgame was the first album featuring guitarist Chris Broderick and he's shown holding this exact guitar in the album artwork. The single "Head Crusher" from Endgame, was nominated for "Best Metal Performance" at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards. Endgame entered the Billboard 200 at number 9 (marking the band's tenth overall top 10 debut) and reached number 1 on the U.S. Top Hard Rock Albums chart.

Megadeth was formed in 1983 by guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine and bassist Dave Ellefson following Mustaine's expulsion from Metallica. The band has since released 13 studio albums. A pioneer of the American thrash metal movement, Megadeth rose to international fame in the 1980s and was ranked as one of the "Big Four of Thrash" along with Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax, who were responsible for creating, developing and popularizing the thrash metal sub-genre. All proceeds of this sale will benefit the music and art programs, field trips, etc. for the children of  Magnolia Elementary School (Oakdale, CA), where Broderick's niece and nephew attend.

ZRII TREMOLO

Zero Resistance technology, yet another Ibanez tremolo improvement, replaces standard knife-edge pivots with a ball-bearing based pivot joint, which provides greater tuning stability.

	This unique system stabilizes the bridge and insures tuning stability by consistently returning the tremolo to the center point (or zero point). In addition to the usual tremolo springs, the Zero Point System features two additional springs which insures the bridge’s return to the center point.
	The Zero Point system adjustment can be quickly set by hand–there’s no need for a hex wrench.
	The ZR tremolo uses a ball-bearing based system for precision and friction-free smooth action.
	Just unscrew the built-in intonation adjustment tool from the base and screw it into the bottom of each saddle for quick adjustments.
	The locking bolt is offset from the center of the saddle, which allows easy access to the bolt without loosening the strings.
	Zero Resistance technology, yet another Ibanez tremolo improvement, replaces standard knife-edge pivots with a ball-bearing-based pivot joint, which provides greater stability.
	The new snap-in arm socket ensures proper arm placement and easy removal. Arm torque is easily adjusted by tightening or loosening the screw located in the arm holder.
	The ZPS3 spring system represents the next phase of Zero Point evolution. The new ZPS3 is made of lightweight and durable Duralumin, reducing overall weight as well as cavity size on the guitar body’s back.

The guitar for sale is the one pictured with Chris Broderick in the Endgame artwork. The photos of the specs on the guitar were from the Ibanez website. I just learned Chris customized the guitar with DiMarzio D Activator pickups and had the Ibanez factory remove the "tone" knob.
