Hello! I'm James Hance, and I paint things! Here's one of them:
"The Cyber Giant" This is an original hand painted portrait inspired by an 'Iron Giant' book illustration by Andrew Davidson in acrylic paint on wood board. I began with a couple of coats of gesso, then gave it a wash in Phthalo Green (Bob Ross's favored technique!) and free form painted in acrylics. I'm really, really happy with how this has turned out - and it was a great excuse to watch the movie and umpteen episodes of Doctor Who again :) This painting is unframed - it'll look great propped on a shelf, or you can attach a hanger to the back or pick out a frame to suit it. It's a pretty standard size so you shouldn't have much trouble :) Your painting will be packed in a custom built box, bubble wrapped and packing-peanuted to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. There will be 100 limited edition, signed and numbered prints made of this painting. This is, and will remain the only original piece. Once it's gone, it's gone. Forever!
