Advertised capacity not accurate and battery wears rapidly
I have now purchased and returned two of these batteries. Both had labels indicating their rating is 5200mAh / 58Wh. Both actually had a design capacity of 3300mAh / 36Wh as reported by HWMonitor in Windows as well as Power Statistics in Ubuntu. Not only was the design capacity 38% lower than advertised, the full charge capacity dropped to 33Wh after only a single discharge cycle. Definitely do not recommend this battery for the ThinkPad X300 or X301.
