This Victorian Hand Sewn with Hand Work Heart Shaped Pin Cushion appears to have a family tree or tree of life with the initials L.D. and year 1907. There are fifteen crosses around the edge which might be for members who have died. This leads me to believe it might be a mourning item. The color is black very early cloth with muted thread colors of beige, green and pink. The back is the same black material. There is very little wear to this one and I only note one small hole in the back. Measures 8" x 6 1/2" at the widest points. This is a very nice one.
