WW2 M-2 ,1st aid pouch. Also known as the jungle first aid pouch. There is anecdotal evidence that these are seen primarily in  Pacific theatre photographs of U.S.troops and not seen in the ETO. A photo from Iwo Jima is shown here. Note that there is a one pocket 1st aide pouch hanging below the jungle 1st aide pouch. When you get issued with 2 types of 1st aide pouch you know you are heading into some deep sh*t. These pouches have compartments for 2 Carlisle bandages, water purification pills, malaria pills, foot rot treatment(Fraser's Sloution) and wound tablets. This very good condition, un-issued pouch is marked U.S. on the front and LAIRD SCHOBER /1944 on the inside of the closing flap. Inside of the pouch is divided into six compartments and these are covered by 2 heavy flaps. The closing flap for the top of the pouch has a compartment inside of that to hold scissors. Has J hooks as a well as a belt loop. Clean, original WW2 issue M-2 pouch seems like it would be handy for so many things if you didn’t use it in your WW2 display.

Please check photos for details. These photos are available in higher resolution if you need them. If you need any other photos or information be sure to ask.

Satisfaction guaranteed. I'm proud of my feedback.

Items are located 20 miles from downtown Detroit Michigan, just outside Windsor Ontario, so depending on your shipping options, delivery time may vary between 1 and 3 weeks.

Basic shipping quoted is to anywhere in North America.  Overseas customers are welcome and must contact us for more precise post office shipping quotes. We only charge what the package needs to get to you and make nothing from shipping fees. Combined shipping is a given. There is no charge for wrapping materials or packing. We pack very well and will ship generally within 24 hours of payment receipt if not the same day.

We have been collecting and researching for years but claim no expert status. We try to list these items as honestly and as accurately as possible. We don’t want to mislead on the history of an item or it’s condition. We are doing the best that we can when we list an item but if you can call attention to something we have over looked or may not be aware of we can work with you to rectify an issue.

We sell antiques. Our photos and descriptions should make this abundantly clear. We sell our items for display purposes. We cannot guarantee an item’s serviceability. If you chose to use an item, it is at your discretion and you must accept the consequences. We have no control over what use or abuse you put an item through and so cannot accept responsibility for what happens to it after you take it out of the wrapping. We provide you with accurate photographs and descriptions and the opportunity to have your questions answered while an auction is running. We pack your items with the same care we would like them shipped to ourselves. That is all we can do up to the point when we ship the item. We’ll work with you and the post office if there is anything that happens on that part of the trip. We work to have happy customers, but we cannot have ourselves open to be taken advantage of, because you broke something and now want your money back. Sorry.

When a price is set on an item it is because research has indicated that this is a fair market value. We can not begin to consider alternate offers on items we have for sale. This just involves too much extra time that we do not have to spare. Your understanding on this matter is appreciated.

Thanks for looking.
