You are bidding on a one-of-a-kind costume, I have no idea how old it is, or who made it
. I was told that this was from the Portland, Oregon Opera company. It is handmade, and is a very theatrical version of a Roman Centurion or Senator, it was meant to look good up on stage and it does. It was made for a person about 5 foot 7 inches or so. It is well made, it has some snaps around the top, so there might have been more attachment items, but this is all I have. It also has a set of leggings. The helmet is hand made and you can see that the decor was done with glue and such, there's a crack on the brim of the helmet. The helmet is nearly as impressive as the costume, and a crown or a wreath will make this the ultimate Roman emperor costume. It has obviously been used, and there is a bit of fraying on the bottom of the cape, it zipper was a little stiff, but everything was well made an put together very well. It has however missing a few fake jewels on some of the ornamental decoration, and some of the little buttons and decorations are missing as well. Please study the photos.
