so i swore up and down to every person who has asked me in the past 7 months if i have ANY copies of this print left that i don't. i simply didn't have any APs lying around. In my heart, I knew this to be true. Then, yesterday, i cleaned my studio to start packing parts of it up and i found THREE OF THEM buried in with prints that other artists had traded with me at Star Wars CelebrationV 2 years ago. just hours earlier i think i had made an angry tweet for people to stop asking me about this print because i had NONE. (oops! i almost had a heart attack when i pulled them out of the tube from the overwhelming guilt of telling so many people that it would be a cold day in hell before i probably saw one again) So, Here is one of my limited edition prints done for star wars celebration v/acme. It depicts Star Wars "A New Hope" in a big montage of colorful scenes. it was limited to 200 copies.... and this is one of the artist proofs. it is numbered "AP/200" and signed by me. it has been buried in a poster tube and bumped around a bit for almost 2 years... there is some MINOR edge damage on the print... nothing that framing wouldn't cover up. know that however much money this goes for is going right to the cost of printing it's companion piece, the "Empire Strikes Back" version that goes on sale in a few weeks :P |
