This is a mobile simulator that can split in half and roll through a standard doorway. The fiberglass shell is an old F-4 Phantom ejection seat trainer that I modified into a generic F-35 interier. It has a new $1,200 professional paint job. At the 2011 Wichita Kansas Chamber of Commerce Business Expo it won the best technology booth award for the Kansas Aviation Museum. It comes with the following, an older computer loaded with Falcon Allied Force, a real Douglas ESCAPAC ejection seat from an A-7 USAF Corsair, a flat screen monitor for the instrument panel (also used as the main view monitor if not using your own projection visual system), a fiberglass windscreen thats used when sim is not operated with a projector visual system, Saitek combat rudder pedals, Saitek Pro Flight X-65F stick and throttle, computer speakers, and a 12v power supply for the LED lighting. It also comes with its original canopy frame that has no glass (I have not used it, but it is also painted). I can add a pneumatic cylinder for the canopy frame if you want it, though you have to mount it. The cockpit is 5 feet wide and 9 feet long I am selling this simulator to raise money for the restoration of a real 27 ft long DC-8 airliner cockpit nose section. I prefer that you do not use PayPal for payment. You are responsible for shipping from Augusta, Kansas. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We also sell custom projector visual systems. The following video link shows the F-35 sim with projector visual system using FSX. The projection system is NOT included in this auction, however projection systems are available seperately. The simulator is being auctioned with the internal flat screen monitor only. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga6O5eVACng Here is a rough estimate for the screen, projector and computer cost for a wideview projection screen. There are options on the screen frame type and the computer type. More detail pricing and hardware options can be nailed down based on client preferences and installation location. Screens are typically between 120 to 180 degress field of view and typically between 12x6 foot and 15x7.5 foot size footprint depending on room size and screen frame ordered. Pre-Warping Software: (Home Use Only): $500 for 2x1L |
