Following the highly successful introduction of our original Break-Up in 1996, some serious changes in the printing industry began to take place — changes that inspired us to redesign everyone's favorite. Our new pattern turned out to be the biggest thing to happen to camouflage since camouflage happened to hunting. The first rule of camo is to blend into the natural surroundings. So what happens when there isn't much in the way of natural surroundings to begin with? The fact is, disappearing on the open range is the ultimate challenge — one that we at Mossy Oak weren't about to pass up. Drawing on our experience as hunters and driven by the obsession to get as close as possible, we introduced the ultimate open-range pattern. Mossy Oak Winter Brush was designed with the predator hunter in mind because of his need to be perfectly camouflaged in the snow covered open country. Not only that, but it works great for mule deer, elk and antelope hunters in snow conditions.

We began with a textured snow background with soft shadowing to simulate snow over uneven ground.
