I love the sound, feel and longevity of these strings. If you look online, however, you will see quite a bit about the G-string breaking. I've had it happen more than once and when it does, you hate these strings. I will say this, I have not had the problem with those I've purchased on eBay. Just lucky? May be different from the ones in the stores? I have no idea. Just know, with these strings, the occasional G-string will break almost before you get them on. Aside from that, they're the best I've played in my years of playing.

It is very cheap and shipping term is not bad but the string is very weak. Especially 3rd string makes sound with noise. I only use this Elixir because of protection from sweat of my fingers but it doesn't work this time. I am thinking seriously whether using this or not.

Unless you're already using 13 - 56 strings (medium-heavy) realize that you must adjust your trust rod. For example, I went from light strings (9 - 42) to these 13 - 56. The tension of these new strings made my neck go concave and totally screwed up my action. Unfortunately I don't have the proper truss rod tool for my Taylor acoustic, so I had to take off the strings and put the light ones back on again. I'll save these 13 - 56 strings for another day.

I've tried a lot of strings in my 30+ years of playing music and I have to honestly say that the Elixer strings are the very best I've ever played!!
