RECOMMENDED USE AS FOLLOWS
0.25 cu. ft. Filters approx. 125 gallons (media would fill approximately the size of a shoe box)
0.5 cu. ft. Filters approx. 350 gallons
2 cu. ft.. Filters approx. 1600 gallons (media fillingapproximately the size of a 13 gallon kitchen bag)
5 cu. ft., Filters approx. 4,000 gallons (size of a large leaf bag)

PVC ribbon material has a high surface area and provides an ideal home for beneficial bacteria to colonize on.
The ribbon may be packaged in a mesh net for easy handling or simply packed in the biomedia compartmend of any filter. This PVC Ribbon is recommended as the most economical bio media for medium to large applications as you may see if you do any research. Used in wided scale fish farming applications and many other smaller venturs including Koi ponds and saltwater aquarium biomedia. Malible andsoft allowing it to form to any shape container. Easy to clean media will last for many years. As far as the mechanical filtration properties, you can simply clean this media by rinsing it or shaking it in a bucket water.
