It operates very well, it is very quiet and quite fast.The only difficulty is fitting the connection ribbon cable into the zip connector. I could not find the zip release and had to push and 'wriggle' the ribbon cable into the connector

the drive seems to be fast and useful for the substitution in a netbook pc. I also recommend buying a zif cable suitable for toshiba discs this is infact slightly thinner than those used on other hard drives. Verify the thickness because may not have enough space to house in the netbook.
Excelent Harddrive! Very safe and long life. I would really recomend the use of this drives on any compatible laptop.
