1:144 US WWII
T28 Super Heavy Tank

(105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95)

This is a new 1:144 WWII US T28 Super Heavy Tank from the new Wargame Armour series of CGD. This tank is fully painted in Olive Green scheme, weathered. No assembling required. An excellent addition to counter Wehrmacht '46 forces.

History:
Preparing for the invasion of Germany in 1945, and expecting to confront the heavy defenses of Siegfried Line, a new class of Allies tank was developed. These Super Heavy Tanks featured heavy armour and large caliber guns.

However, the US designed T28, unlike it's British counterpart A39 Tortoise, was also designed to counter German Stupid Heavy Tanks such as the Maus.

Initially designated as 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95, it was renamed as Super Heavy Tank T28 in 1946.2 prototypes were built before the program terminated in 1947. The sole surviving prototype was not discovered until 1974 and is now exhibited in the Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor.

The model is fabricated with state of the art "3D Printing" technology. Highly detailed. Product of Hong Kong.

TRUE 1:144 SCALE
Not "N" scale or 1:160.

The model is made with a strong and flexible Nylon (Game Grade) material. It can withstand a considerable distortion without breaking, sort of like old Airfix plastic soldiers. An ideal material for wargaming vehicles. You don not have to worry about guns breaking up on your gaming table.
In case you want to do custom alteration for the vehicle, parts can be glued together with Cyanoacrylate based glue or Super Glue. The material can be painted using regular modelling acrylic paints. It is porous that means it actually absorbs paint into the material so under normal situations the paint do not crack even when parts are bend.
