Virgin Airways 2-for-1 Vouchers for All Ticketholders!
vs.
Available for immediate purchase!
Here is a great set of Five* View Reserved seats together in the Front Row of View Reserved Section 328 of the beautiful AT&T Park ( formerly Pacific Bell Park and SBC Park ) to see the
San Francisco Giants
host the
Colorado Rockies
scheduled for Saturday afternoon, August 11th, 2012,
beginning at 1:05PM PT.
These seats are together in View Reserved Section 328, Row 00 (front row!), along the Third-base line overlooking the Giants bullpen and facing the Cove!
You get double the average amount of legroom for View Reserved in this particular row!
Bring your glove for foul and batting-practice balls!
See Pictures section for the view of the ballpark from this area and an annotated seating chart!
Interested in a different game or quantity not already on auction? Email me! If I don't have
it, I can probably get it, and I can set up an eBay Private Offer for you!
Single-ticket (or other odd-number) buyers always welcome!
Ticketing Note:
All tickets are in hand and are available for immediate shipment or Ticket Relay!
All tickets and prepaid parking passes are
eligible for Ticket Relay delivery (Paypal payments excluded). (Ticket Relay works similarly to Ticketmaster email-forwarding, only better --
you can choose to print your tickets on plain paper in your home or office, OR you may leave them in your account for later printing as hard, card-stock tickets at the ballpark! For more details
on Ticket Relay, see below.)
Terms - Please
Read:
Fully cleared payment for regular-season tickets MUST be received within 36 hours of item end (or at least 2 business days before the game,
whichever is earlier ), unless other arrangements have been made with and approved by the
seller.
Important: if you are using Paypal and wish to fund the purchase with an eCheck, this will only work if there is time
for the eCheck to clear and leave sufficient time for shipping and arrival before the game date,
since tickets cannot be shipped until after the eCheck clears. This timing issue can be avoided by making sure that you fund from a
Paypal balance, Debit/Credit Card, or Bank Transfer.
Paypal is accepted only for shipment to Paypal-confirmed addresses. Period. Paypal is not accepted
for Ticket Forwarding, Will Call, in-person pickup, or shipments to third parties. These are Paypal's rules, not mine.
Shipping charge is waived only for in-person payment and pickup.
Due to the vast increase in non-performing bidders, note that this item is subject to prior
sale elsewhere until it is actually paid for within the above time constraints (due to the growing practice of
merely "reserving" tickets via
the bidding process and then not actually paying for the purchase in a timely manner... or ever).
In-person payment
and pickup is always welcome! If you need to make special arrangements, by
all means contact me right away -- I'm open to reasonable requests.
I insure all tickets against loss or delay in transit at no cost to the buyer; any needed
replacements will be made via
Ticket Relay
or reprint as necessary.
Shipping/Handling fee for regular season tickets includes handling and USPS shipping.
Priority or Certified Mail available on request.
Other shipping methods (next-morning, next-afternoon, or second-day) are also available
at cost.
For example, add $9 to the S&H fee for Express Mail (overnight to most urban and suburban locations)
or Insured UPS or FedEx Second Afternoon Air (for California
addresses, Second Day air often arrives the next business day anyway), or add $14 for UPS or FedEx
Next Day Air.
Or, regular season
tickets can be emailed to you using the Giants'
Ticket Relay
system so that you can reprint your tickets (and preferred parking pass, if any)
right at the park by presenting a magnetic-strip ID such as a
Visa card, MasterCard, or Discover Card... or you can print them yourself on
your own home or office printer!
You can even relay some or all tickets that have been relayed to you to another person,
should you need to at some later date; for example, if member(s) of your party will arrive separately,
you can in turn relay their tickets directly to them.
There is no additional charge (beyond the normal S&H fee) for choosing Ticket Relay.
Note: since Paypal refuses to honor Seller Protection for Digital Delivery, Ticket Relay is available for Paypal-paid items at my discretion only.
With in-person exchange or Ticket Relay,
last-minute purchases
are easily supported!
Note, however, that last-minute purchases require careful
coordination between the purchaser and me.
Therefore, before bidding within 24 hours
of the start of the game on an item that had no bids 24 hours before first pitch, you must
contact seller to verify that the tickets you
want are still available, as tickets that had no bids at least 24 hours
before game time are subject to prior sale in the final 24 hours before game time.
Otherwise (if the tickets already had one or more bids before that 24-hour mark), late bidders
must only monitor the auction and then provide a phone number immediately
if they are the winner(s).
(In last-minute purchase situations, winning bidders can have
my phone number emailed to them
using the "eBay Member Search" page by entering my user-id and the auction number in the
appropriate fields.
Shipping & Handling Fee discounts:
- For multiple sets of tickets purchased on the same day, buyer may deduct $4 from the S & H fee for each
additional item (after the first item).
- For in-person pickup and payment, the S & H fee is waived altogether.
Payment MUST be received within 36 hours of auction close or by 12 hours before game time,
whichever is earlier, unless other arrangements have been made with and approved by the
seller.
If the game is fewer than two business days away, then Next Day Air shipping
(click the "Shipping and payment" tab at top for availability and cost),
in-person pickup, and Ticket Relay (see above) are the only delivery options.
Will Call pickup may be available at my
discretion, but because of numerous past abuses of my trust in this area, Will Call use is limited to non-Paypal prepayment methods.
If you paid via PayPal and have chosen Will Call pickup or Ticket Relay, I will withhold feedback until after you have left positive feedback,
only because PayPal does not consider such shipment methods as "confirmable" (Paypal has hit me with chargebacks from dishonest buyers MONTHS after the fact).
In contrast, ticket sales that are Shipped to Confirmed addresses are entitled to positive feedback
upon payment.
Note that children over 23 months of age must have tickets to enter the park at
all.
If you wish to bring a 2-year-old who will be sitting in your lap and does not need a
seat,
I probably have (or can obtain) an inexpensive single ticket (and Virgin America Club pass, if applicable) that I can put on an eBay Private Offer
or Store Item for you to purchase that you can then use for gate entry -- please ask.
My Credo:
- I do not use Reserve pricing. Your only competition comes from other bidders,
not some artificial, secret limit imposed by me -- what you see is what you get.
I do not use Private auctions. Bidders should have the right to see who is bidding
against them and know that their seller is not using Shill Bidding covertly to artificially raise
prices.
I do not use artificially low starting bids and make up the difference using grossly
inflated shipping prices
(this is a too-common form of eBay fee avoidance). My cost for
an eBay sale is the sum of the Listing fee, Final Value fee, Paypal fee (if applicable), and shipping costs.
I try to set the Shipping and Handling charge to cover just the Paypal and actual shipping charges, and I
allow discounts off the S&H charge for
combined multiple purchases and/or in-person pickup.
(Be very wary of sellers who use low listing prices and
high shipping costs; one motivation for
doing so is to avoid being subject to eBay Fraud Protection
conditions).
I do not cancel auctions with bids in the closing hours or minutes if the bids
are lower than I'd like (another too-oftenly-used eBay Fee Avoidance technique).
I use realistic Starting Bids, and I let auctions with bids run their course --
that's the above-board and fair way to do business.
Where possible, I don't limit you to receiving your tickets electronically (via Ticket Relay)
as your only delivery option. I know
that true baseball fans often want the originals
for souvenirs, while others want the convenience of Ticket Relay. With me, it's your
choice.
Where possible, I take my own photos used in my auctions, usually from the exact section and
row in which you will be sitting, in an attempt to be as accurate as possible
in representing the view quality. Failing that, I use official section-specific photos from the venue if
the site/rightsholder does not forbid it. I also provide an annotated seating chart in all my auctions.
I self-insure all tickets I sell. I can reissue tickets if they get lost or stolen in
transit, and I can
often replace lost tickets (buyer must pay Relay fees and affirm their loss in writing).
Sellers who charge
for insurance on regular or Priority mail (or regular Declared Value insurance on UPS
shipments) are doing you no favor, since the USPS will not pay claims for
lost or delayed tickets for anything but Insured Express Mail.
Most of my sales go to repeat customers. Since most buyers have recurring ticket
needs,
I want to build a customer relationship over time. If you are seeking an event or
ticket
location or quantity that I've not listed, please contact me and I can probably
help.
I have numerous contacts among fellow season-ticket holders, and special requests are
always welcome.
Scheduling note:
As with any outdoor sporting event, schedules are subject to change - as your game
approaches, be sure to check the Giants' web site
or other sports media for any changes.
For example, if a weeknight game is added to an ESPN nationwide broadcast, the
start time is typically moved to 7:05PM; if a Sunday game is to be the ESPN Game
of the Week, the start time is typically 5:05PM (schedules for ESPN games are
generally set at least a week or two in advance).
Rain delays are rare in San Francisco, and rainouts are rarer still
(there have been only three rainouts,
all in the month of April, since the ballpark opened to begin the 2000 season).
If the game is not completed, your tickets
will be valid for the replay game, whenever it occurs.
In the event of outright cancellation of the game (i.e. it is not
to be replayed),
your winning bid price will be refunded in full by me (S&H charge not refunded)
upon return of the unused tickets to me (if "hard" tickets were shipped). Games that are
shortened by weather or other
cause but are complete games per MLB rules will not be refunded or discounted.
If the weather is dicey on game day, I recommend that you
tune in to the Giants' flagship radio station, KNBR 680
AM,
to check on status; you will hear any news of schedule change or rainout there first.
Getting to the Ballpark:
For AT&T Park (formerly Pacific Bell Park and SBC Park) information and transportation tips,
including driving directions, public transportation options, and driving and transit maps, visit the
ballpark directions page on the Giants' web site.
If you wish to drive to the ballpark, a Preferred parking pass
(Giants-controlled parking Lot A is available ONLY to passholders
or the disabled) is strongly recommended and is generally available from me directly --
please ask if interested, and I can set up an eBay Store Item or eBay Private Offer with the appropriate Preferred Parking Pass for you.
Lot A parking passes are usually $29 for Friday-Sunday games and
weekday daytime games; for Monday-Thursday night games, I generally
discount them to $22.
There is no extra charge for shipping parking passes if
shipped with a ticket order. Note: Just like tickets, parking passes can be sent via Ticket Relay
(see below for details on Ticket Relay).
There are also commercial
parking garages on various nearby streets, which
provide event
parking as capacity allows; however, note that most of them require you to leave your keys.
CalTrain is an excellent
way to get to the ballpark
from the South Bay and Peninsula areas, especially
with the peak-hours Baby Bullet service and once supplemental "Giants Special" trains for game days resume.
Note that CalTrain's San Francisco terminus at 4th and King is just one (long) block from
the ballpark. Be sure to buy and/or validate your tickets before boarding.
Riding a bike to the park? There is
free bicycle valet parking along the Portwalk behind the Right Field
wall, between the ballpark and McCovey Cove!
Need to get some work done
(or, pretend to)
during game time? Bring your Wi-Fi enabled latop or
PDA to the game! The entire ballpark is a
free 802.11g Wi-Fi Hotspot
providing continuous, universal coverage to all concourses and seating areas. Any fan
with a PDA, tablet PC, laptop or any other Wi-Fi enabled
device can get free access to the Internet and to the
Giants' Digital Dugout,
which includes exclusive game-specific content, stats, video highlights from previous games, pitch-by-pitch scorekeeping, and chat.
