Why Leave Feedback?

Why leave feedback?

For many reasons.

You get what you give!  Some sellers feedback is on an automated system, which means the computer will autiomatically leave positive feedback for you after it was received. It may seem impersonal, but powersellers often have many sales ending at once therefore this way no one is forgotten when it comes to completing the transaction.

Yes, feedback is completion of the transaction. In an e-bay sale, both parties are responsible for making a transaction positive. Paying is a given--it is not a tsale without a payment. But the transaction goes beyond payment. Was the payment prompt? Was the buyer polite to the seller? Did the seller communicate well? There are many things that make a sale happen.

The power of 1000. It is an old e-bay saying but very true. After 1000 feedbacks, sellers make more on their auctions. You earn a reputation and people trust sellers with over 1000.

Be noticed. One reason I believe it is important to leave feedback is because it gets your id out there. Maybe you are not selling now--but someday you might. The more feedbacks you have the more buyers will trust you. But, here's a key--the more feedbacks yiou have on different pages, the better your chances of someone clinking on your intersting id and seeing what you have to offer for sale. I know I do it and I have found some excellect items that way.

People look at feedback left for others. I have not purchased from sellers who do not leave feedback--I'll find it from another seller. If I've asked a seller for feedback after I have left it for them and they never respond or reciprocate--I won't buy from them again either.

We all benefit. Feedback makes e-bay work. Additionally, the more feedback ratings people have and the more positive  transactions occur on e-bay--more new people will have faith in the e-bay system. The more new people, the more new items as well as more bidders on your auctions and a higher final sale price.

Feedback is a win win situation. Please leave feedback.
