These days it is hard to tell where its at. I am talking about the sports card industry as a whole and the industry behind it. When I was about six years old, back 22 years ago I collected cards and more or less did it for the fun of it. I still have many of those mid 80's cards however I don't think that they are in great condition. So the times have changed and the hobby has changed along with it. The 90's flew by and for many card companies was the time flew by all to fast such that they could not keep up with the bigger card companies, thus leaving themselves with one option. That would be to sell out. I got back into this hobby three years ago and have had a great time doing it. My only regret would be the immense amount of money that I have spent throughout the past few years. I have a enormous collection and basically look at it in this way. I feel that I have cards that I enjoy to keep and have as a personal collection, and then those that I can sell. I really wonder sometimes the best way to go about really selling these cards. Thats where it's at. I have just about every card I ever really wanted yet so much more. I think about when I was a young kid and the cost of a pack of cards and then I think about how I just spent $210 on cards at the hobby shop. The main point here is just this: I have a large collection of cards, 4/5 I would like to sell. I wonder if there is others out there that are like me who are going through the same thing. I wonder if anyone out there has any good strategies for really getting this ebay business moving. I want to know so tricks or ways to expand my business so that i can make good money and not a little here and a little there. I enjoy computers to the point that I would not think twice about taking up a job that was in the computer field. This is my first blog ever, and I am testing the water here to see if I can get any replies. I welcome anyones ideas, or tips and tricks. If you are a professional and you know how to run a successful eBay business go ahead and drop a hint for me. Thanks to all - Brendan
