What to do about dog hair...

Wow, I cannot say that I have an answer for this. I tell you what. I aqquired a Golden Retriever almost two years old when my son convinced his Dad and I that he was capable of taking care of the big dog that he always wanted. It was not two weeks when he all of sudden he did not want the cute ball of furr anymore. Well, me being the responsible parent that I am decided he would become my dog. He did!!! It has been a hair fest ever since. We live in Texas so I love him so much I do not want him outdoors. Dumb idea!! But he is an inside pet NOW and he could not survive in this Texas heat. So, I have lots of dog hair. I vacuum all the time.. It is everywhere. I use a kitchen dish glove and get on my hands and knees and rake the hair up. This does work by the way, You will be surprised how much hair is still on the floor after a very good vacuum... So, out comes my trusty glove. I learned this from a man in my Church who at the time was 93 years old. He had a dog who shed so bad and the little man raked his carpet all the time. I got dowN with him at his house one day and was totally amazed. Give it a try. It might help. But in my case I have hair so bad I will never get rid of all of it. Oh, by the way...I adore this dog. Best pet I have ever had.
