How Can Eye-Fi Memory Cards Improve My eBay Listings?

Wouldn't it be nice to see your photos instantly appear on any screen?

Online sellers: no more hoping pictures translate just like you want them to - see them instantly right after you take the photo, and check if all your settings are just right.

It's now possible with the help of Eye-Fi's wireless technology.

What's Eye-Fi technology?

The world's first memory card that allows you to share photos and videos over any wireless network.

How does it work?

After setup with the included USB 2.0 reader, your camera instantly turns into a wireless uploading machine. It is able to send your photos directly from your camera to your computer without ANY wires necessary. It works over your existing wireless connection, and certain Eye-Fi cards can deploy their own wireless network with the Direct Mode feature. From here, you can setup your card to send your photos and videos to social networking sites instantly, or keep them just on your computer. You choose which photos go where.

And why will this help me list faster?

Every eBay seller knows the hassles of taking proper photos for their auction or buy it now listings. This memory card takes all the guesswork out of the equation. You can instantly see if your photo has enough light and if those settings you used worked just right. No more sorting through a bunch of folders trying to find the perfect picture for your listing. You can see it instantly on the screen, right after you take the photo! Not only can you send your pictures to your computer, but also your iPhone, Android phone, tablet, or laptop. It makes selling and listing online a much smoother process.

What if I need more than 16GB capacity?

Eye-Fi cards come with another unique feature - endless memory mode. When this feature is enabled, the Eye-Fi card will automatically create space at a certain threshold once it receives confirmation that the file has been successfully received where you sent it. This means you can take a boatload of pictures, upload them over your home's Wi-Fi connection, and the card will delete the old pictures once they are safely transferred to your computer.

So which cameras accept Eye-Fi cards?

Most new cameras now come with Eye-Fi menus to make compatibility simpler. They let you choose which pictures and videos you want to send, right there from the camera's menu. Check that your camera uses SDHC memory. Many older cameras that use SD cards can also accept these cards. Please see the compatibility link in our listings to ensure that your camera will accept an Eye-Fi card - or just contact me and I'll check for you.

Great! Now where can I find one?

Find them at Orion's Line Electronics Store, as well as your local electronics retailer, although our prices will probably be lower :)

I hope that Eye-Fi cards can speed up the listing process and make you a more successful eBay seller.

Thanks for reading the guide, take care!
