What's the Deal with the MAKE AN OFFER button?

I think one of t he best things EBAY has done is the addition of the ' Make an Offer' button.  This is by far the best tool for both the Seller and Buyer.  Its specially great when you have multiple items you are selling or buying.  For Example, if you and a few of your friends like a particular Vitamin and the Buy it Now price is $21.99, you can use the Make an Offer option to say, make an offer on 3 or 4 of this Vitamin for $20.00 each.  Its great for the seller because he/she can offer a better deal on multiple items rather than the one, specially when the shipping if offered for FREE. 

Good luck with EBAY and remember to use the Make an Offer if you have a chance, and please use it wisely, do not make an offer that just does not make sense, like offering $10 for a $20 Buy it now Item, of worse, offering a Penny!  its a waste of time for the Buyer and Seller.
