When ordering from a company, check to see if you can order ALL of your main items that you need to ensure that color and type of text, graphic, borders, and anything else special the company is putting on your items will match perfectly.
When ordering items from different companies sometimes the colors will not match correctly and though you'll have Blue favors it may be slightly shades off from other companies. Most Ebayers will work with you and help other sellers you are working with get the exact color match, if they won't because of competition, beware! After all , this is YOUR special day! Everything needs to be perfect.
Feedback-This is important on Ebay! Be sure to check and see what others are saying about the products you are looking at.Are they happy with their purchase? Of course there will be some problems, did the seller complete the transaction with ease? No more stress is needed for you at this already stressful time in your life. Make sure they are respected in the Ebay community, Power Sellers are screened by Ebay but you don't have to purchase from a power seller to ensure you get a good transaction. Bookmarks & Favor Tags-Many sellers do NOT laminate their bookmarks , be aware that paper bookmarks WILL tear and smudge on tables with food and drinks at your reception and , unfortunately, there goes your cherished favors for your guests.Lamination will not only protect your favors from smudging but also from tearing when you tie them to your favors! This is SO important, especially if you've tried to do so and ripped the hole punch and wasted tags and had to re-order. Our laminated items do not tear or smudge.
Invitations- Make sure that your seller asks you certain questions regarding how to word your invitations. Such as, both parents, one parent, deceased parent, divorced parents, couple only , all this depends on how the wording will be. A professional will know exactly what samples to send you just by the above information. Make certain you receive envelopes for the invitations AND response cards unless they are postcards, VERY important, some are not included.
Candy- We sell Hershey Nuggets with wraps on them , one of our most popular items. We've never had them melt during summer months but WILL take special precautions to make sure they will not if shipping to a warmer climate. Always keep these when they arrive in a cool, dry space until you are ready to display them. A tray with dry ice with candy on top of a doily to absorb moisture will be sufficient for summer months to keep candy cool enough to avoid melting.
Seed packets- One of OUR most popular gift favor items! These are perfect for favor giving. Ours are laminated , again for no smudging and tearing. These should have enough of REAL wildflower or bird seed, no fillers or very little , for your guests to plant. It doesn't take a lot ( ours are one teaspoon in each packet) but some put so little there is nothing to plant! Wish Pebbles are the newest craze and our a wonderful addition to your wedding. Each guest is given a packet with a pebble in it. They make a wish upon the pebble for the couple such as long lasting love, health, wealth, happiness etc. They all pebbles are collecting usually in a decorated planter. The couple then have all of their guests best wishes with them wherever they go. A very warm idea and something the couple can keep forever!
In conclusion, when buying your favors on Ebay make certain your seller sends you an order form to fill out with everything they need to begin the design of your order, names, date, time, colors chosen, graphic, borders etc. and that they send YOU a proof to review and a chance to make changes or corrections BEFORE they print your order, this will ENSURE there are no mistakes in printing.
