Tips For Buyers Both Veterans & Newbies!

Well, I posted a guide for Sellers so it's only fair I post one for Buyers too..so here goes!

As a Buyer on ebay I found ebay seems to forget if not for the Buyers there would be no Sellers..I believe a Seller is only as good as the Buyer and vice versa..If you pay promptly keep the Seller informed about your payment and when to expect it then that Seller has nothing to complain about..Buyers whatever you do, do NOT send cash..use paypal at your own descretion..sometimes Sellers who wont accept anything, but paypal can be dishonest I am not saying all are..check fbs see if there are any complaints about non delivery of items..if so stick to mo's, but be sure you purchase ins..if you pay by check be aware there will be a delay in shipping sometimes up to 2 weeks..as far as wire transfer goes it is not reccommended unless you have done business with that Seller in the past..I cannot stress this enough ALWAYS GET INSURANCE....ask about ins. before you bid or buy if Seller says no move on..I was cheated on ebay once by a Seller who said no to insurance, I never received my win and while I had to prove I paid and all that Seller had to say was "yes, I mailed it off" he got my $40 and I got nothing after that I swore, no insurance no sale! If you pay for ins. and Seller sends item uninsured and your win is lost, damaged or stolen do NOT take the loss..after all you paid for ins. if they did not insure the item that is their loss not yours. Be sure to keep your proof and file complaints with ebay also with the PO for mail fraud and only do business on active buys/wins via the ebay system..do not let the Seller see your email address while the sale is still up in the air..request the Seller only contact you via ebay if they refuse report them to ebay! If you pay via cc and you do not receive your win report that to the cc company they can reverse the charge..but please be honest..That seems to be a problem on ebay..as a Seller (not here) I have received cash payments and wire transfers and have emails attesting to my honesty..if you are truly honest whether you be a Buyer or a Seller then well you're fbs would perfect..if you leave a rev. neg which alot of Buyers and Sellers have done then you are showing how dishonest you are and that is sad!

Also I have a pet peeve..I have read online where non believers in the paranormal call us believers "stupid" "gulliable" and other even uglier names..I even read once where a few bloggers admitted to cheating Buyers of paranormal items by listing ordinary items such as socks, shirts, empty cans (yes some people have fallen for that old scam) listed those items as haunted and made a killing..they admit this and even worse they brag about it..they call us stupid..well, I have news for them I maybe stupid, but I can learn, you however are a liar and a thief..and that is far worse...these auctions are blatant insults not to mention illegal..sadly you get a  newbie (someone with 0 or low fb) who wants really bad to win a haunted item bidding on haunted empty Dr. Pepper cans or Haunted Mrs. Butterworth syprup bottles..paranormal Buyers please we are being insulted in this auctions don't fall for this..most if not all of these auctions are listed in the weird/bizarre section..if you see such a auction please email me before buying /bidding. If you go ahead and buy said haunted item then receive your win and nothing paranormal happens then my Friend you have been duped..demand a refund of your money, file complaints with ebay and the post office for mail fraud when someone lies about his/her auction description cons you into paying for a item that is misrepresented that is against the law..The FBI has a website set up to help auction fraud victims...Don't be a victim!

I want to stress this DO NOT BE A VICTIM! Don't let someone steal your money then sit back lick your wounds and try again..Doesn't matter if it's only $2 or $200. It is your money..demand a refund..if the Seller says no, File complaints with ebay, if you pay via paypal file complaints with them..if you pay by mo take your receipt to the PO and file a mail fraud complaint..if the Seller owns a business go to the BBB, if you pay by check ask your bank for help, file complaints with the FBIs internet auction fraud website..if you paid with a cc contact the cc company they can get your money back..if you live close to the Seller find out about suing in small claims court..in some areas you can sue for court fees, lawyers fees as well as the actual amount you are owed..there is even a website online where people can post their complaints online..you can post the sellers info and someone will contact that person on your behalf if that Seller refuses to respond then everyone online will know what happened to you..But you must be honest too...As far as neg f/b is concerned no longer can Sellers blackmail us into keeping quiet about how we were cheated..sadly you wont get your earned pos. f/b, but that's a small price to pay..on your fb rating respond to another Sellers f/b left for you (be sure to compliment that Seller on his or her fb rating for their honesty) with the name of the dishonest Seller and how you are owed a pos. by that other Seller..don't be insulting..don't call the Seller names keep it simple and to the point ie: so and so owes me a positive..I paid quickly then Seller cheated me..once again DON'T BE A VICTIM!

My Biggest Complaint ok my second biggest complaint is Buyers who leave neut. when a neg is called for..if you are cheated out of your money leave a neg. if Seller lies about his or her description leave a neg. all a neut means is I am ok with the sale..a neg means I'm mad because this Seller is dishonest..
