The mystery of Le Mystere bra's Tisha & Carina fit

Anyone who owns a Le Mystere Tisha or Dream Tisha bra can tell you that they are probably the most comfortable, supportive and flattering bra they have ever worn. But many women can also say that getting the right fit (especially buying them online) can be frustrating.I am writing this guide to help unravel some of the confusion that can come with buying the correct size.

First and foremost,if you haven't yet it is essential to get a professional bra fitting, and get them at least once a year. There are many wonderful guides on sizing yourself for a bra,but I have found that having someone else fit you gives more accurate results, and without an accurate measurement, this guide or any other guide will not help you.

Second, some sellers claim that other sellers are selling irregulars, and that is why the bra does not fit. This is simply not true.Le Mystere does NOT sell irregulars-at all, period.

Third,it is important to understand cup sizing. Most of us know the simple equation DD=E DDD=F and so on,but I have found that even though Le Mystere abides by this, a DD and an E(and coordinating cup sizes)are not exactly the same.Le Mystere uses a "DD" "DDD" format for their "average" figure bras-such as the Tisha bra,#955 and the "E","F" format for the full figure bras, such as the Dream Tisha (#955,#965)and the Carina styles(#9155).

The Tisha Bra (#955) is from the L'image collection and is geared toward average figures. It comes in common sizes from 32A up to 38DD(and includes 30A).The sizing of the band is what makes the difference.Starting at over a C order one band size up than you normally wear example:if you wear a 36D order a 38D etc.

The Dream Tisha (#9955) is from the Renaissance collection and is the same style as the Tisha bras, but geared toward fuller figures. It comes in a wide variety of sizes from 32C to 44H.The band rule applies to this bra also, starting at 40C/D. example:if you wear a 40E you would order a 42E.

The Dream Tisha Lace bra (#965) comes in sizes 32B to 44H and is the same style as the Dream Tisha bra with lace at the tops of the cups and the straps. These bras run more true to size and should not need any adjustments.

The Carina bra (#9155) is also from the Renaissance collection, also geared toward full figures and though it does not have as much support as the Tisha styles do,it is still supportive and features a lower cut center for low cut tops while still providing full coverage and has adjustable straps that can be worn traditional or criss crossed. The criss cross option is great to have because it sets the straps closer for more support and gives you the ability to wear shoulder baring shirts with no straps showing-Yay!In a size D or over you would order one band size up example: if you wear a 38D you would order a 40D,etc.
I realize that this is a lot of information and trouble for a bra,but once you wear one,you will wonder how you ever got by without them!I am not a representative of the company, but I have done a lot of research, trial and error and my customers' feedback to create this guide,I hope you have found it helpful!
