Basically I purchased a set of The Walking Dead #100 variants from Jays Comics (user: jayscomics), the 9 different covers on a presale. I know they're against eBay policy, but he ASSURED the buyers that they would be posted within 30 days of the end of the listing. This was my first error.
First, my order got "forgotten", I don't know how many others suffered through this. So long passed and I kept receiving reassurance that it'd be "posted tomorrow" that the deadline to leave feedback expired and the Paypal dispute deadline passed. I emailed him continuously until I got sick of it, I told him I'd be filing a chargeback with my bank that week. Low and behold, I finally get a tracking number. So I thought that'd be the end of it. But no.
A week and a half later, my package arrives in Australia and I open it, and EVERYTHING is damaged. It's ridiculous, I re-check the listing and he's altered it so it no longer contains any phrase about the condition of the comics. I email him yet AGAIN and tell him I'm incredibly unimpressed by his inability to pack a few comics and I'll never do business with him again. He asks to see pictures of the damage and I ALMOST thought he was a good guy. But after I sent the photos, he stopped responding to my emails, apparently refusing to take ANY responsibility for the product which he'd packed poorly and shipped out.
Seems positive feedback isn't everything. Watch out for this seller, he's not one of the good guys. Only one to ever blatantly rip me off and thanks to deadlines and an abuse of the listing policies, he got away with it. Buyers, beware of this one.
